During this period, there will be sunshine from time to time and the cold will also keep increasing. 2.2 mm rainfall has been recorded at the weather observatory on Sunday.

The Meteorological Department estimates that western disturbances will continue to occur. Due to being under the jet stream winds, there is a continuation of western disturbance. Senior meteorologist of CSA, Dr. SN Sunil Pandey said that after the rain in the early hours of Sunday, the impact of this western disturbance has gone ahead. But western disturbances are expected to continue coming later. This will not stabilize seasonal activities. Apart from this, another low pressure area is forming in Sagar and Bay of Bengal. Due to this, the speed of winds is not increasing but the humidity is increasing. Because of this it remains cold.

Senior meteorologist Dr. Pandey said that due to increase in humidity there will be movement of clouds but there will also be sunshine in between. After the end of the cyclonic circulation, north-westerly winds are expected to pick up speed. After this, cold wave will prevail in the plains of Ganga. According to the forecast issued by the Meteorological Department of CSA, strong winds, hailstorm and light-moderate rain are expected till January 15. During this period, four to six mm of rain may occur. Along with this, there will be fog in the morning and mist in the evening. On Sunday, the maximum temperature was 0.8 degrees below normal and the minimum temperature was 2.6 degrees below normal.
